    Dear Oxnard Team:                                                                                                                                      
    I am honored to be the OSD Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and to join the exceptional staff of the Oxnard School District. I am excited to be part of the team and be part of this journey with you.


    I come from a family of educators and have been in the field of education for 22 years working as a teacher, an assistant principal, principal and most recently, serving as the Director of Human Resources in the Pleasant Valley School District. I am fluently biliterate in English and Spanish. I am fully committed to exploring new ways to meet the needs of our Oxnard Elementary students and to effectively form strong partnerships with our staff, parents, and community members.

    In my most recent position, I worked as the District’s chief negotiator and facilitator for labor-management relations. In addition, I oversaw all certificated recruitment, hiring, monitored staffing and certificated assignments, and coordinated induction programs for teachers and administrators. I was also one of the District’s lead investigators regarding staff and student issues. I am eager to use my human resources experience to plan, prepare and implement innovative actions for our district.

    By working with our certificated and classified teams, I strongly believe we can collectively have a positive impact on our students. We can work together to provide a strong educational experience for our young people to ensure they receive every opportunity to thrive and be successful. I am looking forward to partnering with our district and families and am humbled to be able to serve our community and the Oxnard School District.

Certificated Substitute Incentive Plan

    Certificated Substitute Incentive Plan
    2022-2023

    Certificated Substitute Incentive Plan will apply to day-to-day and Roving (floater) substitutes that work a full day during student instructional days only. Days not worked (sick, quarantine, WC) will not be counted toward the total days worked. In the event of school closure for any reason, the District will assess and decide at the time, the incentive payout. During these incentive windows, all other incentive plans will be suspended, except for TSPL Substitutes who do not qualify for this incentive plan.
