What is the role of School Site Council?
The School Site Council (SSC) has the responsibility of developing a comprehensive strategy plan, also known as the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), to ensure that all of the resources available to the school, the base program, and the supplemental resources, are coordinated adn focused on providing a high quality educational program in which students of all ranges of ability adn background can succeed in learning.
- The SSC develops the school plan/budget and recommends it to the local governing board
- The SSC reviews implementation of the plan and periodiclaly assesses its effectiveness. The SSC annually reviews the plan, establishes the budget, and makes adjustments to the plan.
How often and when are the meetings?
Meetings are held approximately once per month on the third Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm. Dates and times will be determined determined by the SSC once elected.
Where do the meetings take place?
The meetings traditionally take place in our Brekke Library. To start our 2020-2021 school year, meetings will be held via Zoom.
