    Welcome Back Students, Parents & our Oxnard Community!

    I hope your summer provided you the rest and relaxation to kick off an exciting year ahead! And what a year it's been already in these first few weeks of school. Mother Nature has spared no time testing our emergency preparedness with the recent hurricane, rains and earthquake.

    While these weather challenges have quickly tested our new communication channels, I'm proud of how our OSD team and community rose to the challenge of weathering the storm together. Our district team is continuing to refine and update our Emergency Response Systems. Student safety is always our utmost focus and priority ... and we will be working tirelessly to ensure the security of all our students and staff.

    As we navigate the 2023 - 2024 school year together, I want you all to know how deeply committed our district is to the success of every student in our schools. Together, we will work towards a future where our students are safe, supported, well-prepared academically ... and also empowered to make positive contributions to society.

    You will notice more messages and updates from the district, teachers and administrators will be posted on ParentSquare.

    If you haven't done so already, please register to activate your account. Registering takes less than five minutes and all your student information is already populated in the site

    ¡Bienvenidos estudiantes, padres y nuestra comunidad de Oxnard!

    Espero que su verano les haya brindado la oportunidad de descansar y recuperarse para comenzar este fantástico nuevo año. ¡Y vaya año, que nos ha tocado en estas primeras semanas de clases! La Madre Naturalez no ha perdido tiempo en poner a prueba nuestra preparación para las emergencias con el reciente huracán, lluvias y un terremoto.

    Si bien estos desafíos climáticos han puesto a prueba rápidamente nuestros nuevos canales de municación, estoy orgullosa de la manera como nuestro equipo y la comunidad del OSD  stuvieron a la altura del desafío y capearon la tormeta juntos. Nuestro equipo en el distrito continúa perfeccionando y actualizando nuestros Sistemas de Respuesta a las Emergencias. La
    seguridad de los estudantes es siempre nuestro mayor enfoque y prioridad... y trabajaremos incansablemente para garantizar la seguridad de todos nuestros estudiantes y personal.

    A medida que avanzamos juntos durante el año escolar 2023-2024, quisiera que todos sepan cuán profundamente comprometido está el Distrito con el éxito de cada estudiante en nuestras  scuelas. Juntos trabajaremos hacia un futuro en el que nuestros estudiantes estén seguros, respaldados y bien preparados académicamente...y además empoderados para contribuir  ositivamente a la sociedad.
