Mental Health Services
In accordance with AB 2022 and CA Education Code 49428, the Oxnard School District wants to ensure that parents, guardians and students are informed about resources available for anyone who believes they are in a mental health crisis. We encourage parents/guardians and students to talk with any adult in the school district if they are concerned about another student and possible mental health needs. In order to initiate access to available pupil mental health services, you may contact the following mental health services provider:

LocalSchool Wellness Policy
A local school wellness policy (LSWP) is a written document that guides a local educational agency (LEA) or school district’s efforts to establish a school environment that promotes students’ health, well-being, and ability to learn, per the requirements written in SEC. 204 of Public Law 111-296 Local School Wellness Policy Implementation and the Code of Federal Regulation 210.30 and 220.7 and all Final Rule guidance. Students, parents and community members interested in participating in Oxnard School District's Wellness Collaborative should contract the District's Director of Pupil Services at the number listed above for more information about how to become involved.
