Local Control Accountability Plan

Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an essential component of California's Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). This is a required three-year plan that is updated annually.  The plan outlines the district’s goals, actions, and services designed to meet the needs of all students and improve academic outcomes. The LCAP addresses California’s eight state priority areas and aligns with the district’s budget to clearly demonstrate how resources are allocated to achieve these goals.

We value your input!

Oxnard School District encourages educational partners, including parents, teachers, employees, and community members, to actively participate in the LCAP development process. Ongoing engagement is maintained through multiple forums, such as surveys, webinars, and committees, which are used for continuous feedback to ensure inclusive participation. Please share your suggestions below. All suggestions will be carefully reviewed and considered as we update the plan to ensure the success of every student.
