The ASES program is provided at no cost for families who are enrolled in the Scholars program. The Scholars program consists of academic and enrichment activities.  The programs are educational and fun and include a daily complimentary snack. The Scholars Program is offered Monday through Friday from school dismissal until 6:00PM (including minimum days). Participating students are expected to attend every day the program is offered. The Oxnard School District contracts with the City of Oxnard to provide the after school programs at each of our twenty schools.  The program is offered to students in grades K-8. The program is called "Oxnard Scholars". The programs receive funds through the State of California After School Education and Safety (ASES) grant.  The ASES Grant is made possible by Proposition 49.

After school programs vary from school to school and are tailored at each school to meet the particular academic and social needs of the school population.  The program provides a safe and supervised environment after each school day for students to receive academic support and enrichment. Registration forms and information can be obtained at your school site.
