Social Emotional & Counseling Resources for Parents & Legal Guardians

Calhope

Calhope provides free, safe and confidential mental health support for families.

California Lutheran University's Community Counseling Services

Offers virtual and in-person counseling sessions in English and Spanish. Operate on a sliding scale ranging from $25 to $75 per session. The fee is based on household income and size. CLU also has grants for eligible community members.

Coalition for Family Harmony

Offers therapy sessions to undocumented families experiencing stress due to recent immigration enforcement actions.

Interface Children and Family Services

Provides mental health counseling and crisis intervention for families, regardless of insurance or immigration status.

Ventura County Ambulatory Care

Provides mental health services (depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse) within primary care clinics, including therapy, psychiatry, and case management.

Ventura County Behavioral Health

Provides mental health and substance use support and treatment services for people of all ages, including crisis intervention, therapy, and outpatient care to help with issues like anxiety, depression, substance use, and emotional challenges.
