The Oxnard School District Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas at 21 school sites and 5 administrative locations. Our dedicated team ensures that all lawns, athletic fields, and landscaped areas are regularly mowed, trimmed, and cared for to create safe and welcoming environments for students, staff, and the community. In addition, we manage and monitor the district’s irrigation systems to maximize water efficiency and sustainability.

In partnership with the City of Oxnard, the district is committed to water conservation and encourages the community to assist in these efforts. If you notice any unusual water flow, broken sprinklers, or running water on school grounds, please report it to the Oxnard School District Maintenance and Operations Department at (805) 385-1514.
