Outreach Services
Connecting students and families with the support they need
Oxnard School District provides a wide range of support services to students and families. Each school has an Outreach Specialist (ORC) who coordinates and provides these services for families.
How the Outreach Specialist Can Help
The ORC can help families with:
- Access to food, clothing, and shelter
- Access to health services (medical, behavioral, dental)
- Access to counseling
- Attendance problems
- Learning problems
- Behavior problems (fights, bullying, defiance)
- Access to substance abuse services
- Transportation
- Tutoring
- Low- or no-cost health insurance for children
