    The Public Information Officer is responsible for gathering and sharing news and information related to:
    • The vision and mission of the Oxnard School District, its services, and programs
    • The District’s partnerships, special events, awards and recognitions                                   
    • Collaborations with constituents and supporters including parents, teachers, educators and administrators, community leaders and elected officials

    The Public Information Officer handles media relations, publicity, social media, special event planning, website, and the announcements/information appearing on OSD TV (OPIE-TV) that broadcasts throughout the Oxnard community on Charter Spectrum Channel 20 and Frontier Communications Channel 37.
