Dear Brekke Families,
We hope this letter finds you safe and well as we all take the necessary steps to stay healthy during this time. This change to our way of life can bring up many questions and concerns, so we want to let you know we are here to support in any way we can. As students continue with their distant learning, our Brekke staff members continue to participate in distant collaboration, both with our site and our district, to ensure we continue to provide the necessary support to our students and families. You can access the links above for grade level resources and distant learning activities beginning April 20th.
In addition to academic resources, we have other resources available to support meeting social-emotional and other basic needs. Please contact the school counselor or outreach specialist to assist in meeting these needs. You may also notify your child's teacher or the office staff. Resources will be updated on our school website under the School Counselor and Outreach Specialist sections. All staff members will continue to be available through email (emails can be found under the staff directory tab on our website) and some teachers through their classroom communication apps. Staff members have set up office hours to answer questions and provide support to students and parents. If you leave a message after office hours, the staff member will get back to you within a 24 hour period.
