Marshall New Classroom Building

The Board approved the construction of a twelve-classroom building at Marshall to meet the interim 300-student capacity needed for grades 6–8 until a new middle school is constructed, and to give Marshall additional classrooms and a long-term K–8 educational program option once a new middle school is built. At that point, the original facilities and the new building would together provide 40 permanent classrooms with capacity for 900 students per State loading standards, consistent with the District’s adopted specifications for K–8 school facilities.

CSDA Design Group was selected to design the project. Construction was anticipated to begin in September 2017, pending approval of a Guaranteed Maximum Price and selection of a lease-leaseback contractor.
