GATE REFERRAL PROCESS

STUDENTS IN GRADES THREE THROUGH EIGHT MAY BE REFERRED FOR ASSESSMENT BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN OR A TEACHER.

Parent/Guardian Referrals

• Parents can request a referral packet from the teacher or pick up a copy from the front office.
• Parent must complete the packet and submit to either the teacher or office staff by Friday, December 2, 2022.

Teacher Referrals

• Use referral packet to recommend students in grades three through eight.
• Return completed referral packet to your school office manager by Friday, December 2, 2022.

Testing Dates

• Students in grades three through eight that are referred will then be scheduled for assessment between February 7 and February 28.
• Current second grade students will be assessed during a district-wide second grade testing window between January 17 and February 28.

Parents will be notified of the results by March 24, 2023.

Referencia del
Padre/Tutor Legal

• Padres pueden solicitar un paquete de referencia del maestro o recogerlo de la oficina.
• Padres necesitan llenar y devolver el paquete al maestro o al personal de la oficina antes del viernes, 2 de diciembre, 2022.

Referencia del
Maestro

• Utilice el paquete de referencia para recomendar a los alumnos del tercero al octavo grado.
• Complete y devuelva el paquete al personal de la oficina antes del viernes, 2 de diciembre, 2022.

Fechas de las pruebas:

• Los alumnos del tercero al octavo grado que sean referidos, seran evaluados dentro del 7 de febrero al 28 de febrero.
• Los alumnos inscritos en segundo grado seran evaluados dentro del 17 de enero al 28 de febrero.

Los padres/tutores recibrian los resultados de la prueba, por correo, el 24 de marzo, 2023.
