Many of you have seen that LAUSD announced school closures tomorrow.  Oxnard School District has been in communication with the Ventura County Office of Education, following city updates and monitoring the path of the storm.

 

While we are experiencing rain at this time, there are no significant concerns right now in Oxnard or in our county.

Our transportation department is closely watching all student pickup and drop-off locations for potential flooding. If any designated location is flooded, our buses will approach as close as is safely possible. Additionally, please be aware that there might be slight delays in pickup or drop-off times due to weather conditions.

Student Safety is our top priority. To keep our families informed, messages will be sent via Parent Square, social media and posted on our www.OxnardSD.org news tab.
