Free Meals Available During School Closure Oxnard School District will provide FREE meals to all OSD enrolled students during the school closure. Meals will be distributed at Frank School during Distance Learning.



  • Oxnard School District continues to be committed to feeding children during the school closures. Begining Wednesday, August 19th, Child Nutrition Services is conducting meal distribution of  prepared meals, FREE of charge for OSD enrolled students. Meal distribution times for ALL eight (see below) locations are from 7:00am - 9:00am and from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. 


Beginning Tuesday, August 25, Meal Distribution will resume twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00am - 9:00am and from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Children do not need to be present during food pick up, but a Family Meal Ticket with student ID is required and will need to be shown. (Family Meal Tickets will be mailed to residences prior to the start of school. Please call Child Nutrition Services at 805-385-1501 ext. 2430 if you are in need of a Family Meal Ticket). 

Meals include breakfast, lunch, and supper staple foods. Staple items are based on availability.  Supplies are limited and all meals will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be no congregate feeding; all food is to be taken and consumed offsite. As a reminder, please observe social distancing and maintain a distance of 6 feet apart when waiting in line for meal bags.  While in the meal line, we highly encourage for everyone’s safety, that all people wear face covering over their nose and mouth.
